ELIGIBILITY — Who Can Apply
✅ Age: 18–26 years old (must be under 27 at arrival)
✅ Education: High school / GCSE equivalent
✅ Experience: Minimum 200 hours verified childcare experience
✅ Driving: Full, clean UK driving licence (required by nearly all families)
✅ English: Good conversational English
✅ Status: Unmarried, no dependent children
✅ Character: Clean DBS / background check, good health

Complete our simple application. We personally check your childcare references, driving licence, experience, and background — so you can feel confident and ready.
Step 3 — Meet Your American Family
We introduce your profile to carefully selected host families across the US. You can ask them ANYTHING — daily routine, location, pets, children’s ages, expectations. YOU choose who feels right.
Step 4 — Visa Arrangements
Our US partner agency issues your official J-1 visa paperwork and guides you step-by-step through the US Embassy interview. You are NOT alone.
Step 5 — Travel & Arrival
Your return flight is PAID. You fly to the US, are met at the airport, and welcomed into your new American home. Your adventure begins! 🎉
Step 6 — Your Year in America
Private room, all meals, weekly stipend, holiday, support throughout. Extendable to 24 months if you and your family are happy.
How long does the whole process take?
Typically 8–12 weeks from application to departure. We guide you through every step to keep things moving smoothly.
Can I stay longer than 12 months?
Yes! Most placements can be extended to 24 months if both you and your host family are happy.
